GOLF

? 27th annual Georgia Women?s Team Championship, Savannah Quarters Country Club, Pooler, Sept. 24-25. Open to two-person teams of female amateur golfers who are GSGA members, age 18 or above as of Sept. 24, and have a maximum individual USGA Handicap Index of 31.9 and a maximum team differential of eight strokes. The field will consist of 60 teams ? 10 teams with the lowest combined USGA Handicap Indexes compete in the Championship flight (handicap differential requirement does not apply). Remaining teams are determined on a first-come, first-serve basis. Field will be expanded if 80 teams enter, with a maximum of 100 teams. Format: One round of flighted, four-ball stroke play and one round in scramble format. Qualified players must enter online at gsga.org by clicking the online registration quick link.
